Italian restaurant in CHicago for 30

Hey guys! I was wondering if you know a good Italian restaurant, not very expensive, where to take 30 people for dinner on March. This is a office reunion that I am in charge of organizing. I thought Italian food was the best thing because you know there are a lot of places in Chicago besides pasta is something everybody likes. The location is not a problem. We have rented a bus that can take us anywhere. I was told that Al's Beef in Little Italy is good but I don’t know how are they with big groups like mine. Do you have any experiences with them? If you know about any restaurant anywhere it would be much help if you let me know. Tx

You can also consider SALERNOS on West Grand ave. It's an old fashion place that's been around for years. Nothing too fancy but authentic.

IMO there are better quality food options than Maggiano's:

This is one that we like. It's on the far northwest side.

Italian Village is downtown and has been around for decades. I have not been in a while, but remember the food being good.

Maggianos is a chain with a lot of locations and definitely can handle groups, but I agree with Dave148, the food is nothing special.

Maggiano's in Oakbrook is ok, but I would not step foot into the one at Clark/Grand.

Marcello's on North just east of Halsted is good. It also has a parking lot which is good for a bus.If you are set on Italian, fine but I would also consider Greektown. Athena's now has windowed in their outdoor patio so you can sit "outside" and have your party.

Club Lago in River North is another option.

They have a web site for you to review.
