Downtown, Wrigley and US Cellular

Coming to Chicago in the summer for a baseball trip and sightseeing.... wife wants to stay right downtown, will be arriving via Union Station. What area/street should we look for when wanting a central downtown hotel? Right in the middle of things within walking distance etc. Also... we are going to a Cubs game and White Sox game... is there a fairly easy way to get to each stadium when staying downtown, will the subway take us to both? Thanks

ok, reason I asked about that hotel is that I can get for under $95 a night.... I'm looking for a hotel around $100-150 or so and not many right downtown.... can you recommend any better ones in that price range near downtown? Thanks guys, appreciate all the advice

Hotel rates here run all over the place as Chicago is also a convention destination. Play with your proposed dates using www.hotels.com or similar site and see what works within your budget.

FYI - with your budget, you might want to consider Priceline or Hotwire.
