Parking on Michigan Avenue

We are coming into the City in 2 weeks, we are staying in Glenview, how long to get downtown on Sat. morning?

Also our focus is shopping on Michigan Ave all day why the boys are at NW/OSU game, where is a good place to park, we are splitting it between 4 girls so price is not really a big deal.

After game we are going to have the boys join us for Pizza on Saturday night at Gino's East, is it just crazy there on a Saturday night???

From Glenview to the city would probably take a good 45 minutes on a Saturday morning.

It would really depend on where on Michigan you were planning to shop as its a long stretch of stores. There is ample parking every two blocks or so. You will have no trouble finding parking at all.

Gino's East is always busy.. Getting there early may help with the wait!

"Reasonable" parking - www.millenniumgarages.com

Rather than having the boys head downtown, why not drive up to Evanston for dinner? This way, you'll be halfway back to Glenview.

While there are quite a few garages near Michigan Avenue, almost none have direct access to Michigan Avenue, making them harder to find. You may want to look at a parking map.

If you drive a large vehicle, make sure you know how tall it is. Some garages won't accommodate a large SUV, for example.

The garage behind 900 North Michigan is huge, and there is a discount if you spend at least $10 in the mall. You enter the garage from the side streets (Walton or Delaware) not from Michigan Avenue. After parking, you can walk into the mall without going outside.
