Visiting Boise for a couple of days - No Car!

Hi There!

I'm going to be coming to Boise for Friday and Saturday next week to feed my Minor League Baseball habit.

I'm a non-driver (in this country anyway) and i'd be really grateful for any pointers on some fun stuff to see and do. Are there any organized trips i can sign up for maybe or possibly there are some places within reasonable taxi fare distance?

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks.

HI

if you stay downtown you don't need a taxi

there is a lot to do and see within walking distance.

you will probably need taxi to get to Hawks stadium.

next week is the Twilight Criterium a neat bycicle

race thru downtown street's at dusk. you can float the Boise river to get away from the heat.during day

rent a bike or walk or roller blade the many miles of the Green belt along the boise river.

many great restuarants and bars downtown.

HI

another interesting thought

they have guided Segway tours of Downtown Boise

or you can rent one and explore.

you know they are the little two wheeled scooter you ride standing up.

I keep seeing them downtown all the time

so I just google Boise Segway tours to find them.

looks like a fun tour.
