Anything in Stone Mountain, GA besides the park?

Planning a trip to SM, GA in January 2017. Will have 2 adults and 3 kids. Our primary purpose is SM Park's Snow Mountain attraction but I am wondering if there is anything to do in SM (city) or very close by? It seems that most of the other attractions at SM Park will be out of season or not suitable for small kids. We will be there from Saturday - Sunday. Looking for suggestions on other fun things to do and reasonable places to eat. We will be staying at a hotel in the city, but not in the park. Thanks in advance!

What do you consider "reasonable"? Different people have different ideas about that - usually best if you can state a budget. What hotel are you staying at? Will you have a car or are you relying on MARTA?

Stone Mountain Village has some nice shops and restaurants, but may not be a good choice with kids. Depending on exactly where you are staying there may be better options near your hotel

As far as meals go, we would prefer no more than $10-$15 per person and definitely a family friendly environment (kids are 3, 5 & 13). We will be staying at the Country Inn & Suites and will have a car.

Further east on Stone Mountain Freeway towards Snellville is the Yellow River Game Ranch which the kids may enjoy depending on their age. Again, just outside the park headed east on SMF you will have the choice of every type of dining places for the next 5 miles. There isn't much in the village of Stone Mountain that I can really recommend for dining.
