Anyone been on the Emerald Princess Casino Boat?

Visiting SSI in Dec. and was wondering if anyone has been on the casino boat that is out of Brunswick, GA? How long is the drive to the dock from SSI? I've been to Vegas and Biloxi and know that when you gamble the alcoholic drinks are included for "free. Is this the same for the casino cruise?

Ok I don't mean to step on any toes, but I did this cruise a few years ago, and frankly don't recommend it. My husband's high school had a reunion and rented out the boat. We boarded and took off for the three mile mark, just beyond the beach at St. Simons. The captain dropped anchor, whereupon the boat (it isn't large) began to bob up and down like a cork at sea.

We had been drinking and went downstairs to the dining room to eat. I watched half-cooked peas roll around my plate and promptly decided it was best to go upstairs topside. I have NEVER, ever seen so many people sea sick. It was truly awful. I am not prone to seasickness-I am the daugher of a Navy officer and have spent time sailing, but this was just bad. Don't even think about going if the weather is remotely rough. I stuck my head in the casino and was nearly over come with the cigarett smoke. I don't believe drinks are included in the price, or perhaps you get a token for one.

Avoid this. The view from the bar at the King & Prince is much better and the service is terrific.

My fiance and I took the morning cruise ( 11am - 4pm ) on Labor Day weekend. I recommend it even though, we are not into gambling and 5 hours can get a little long for those who are not. I enjoyed the ocean views out on deck and the friendly passengers. The light lunch was tasty --salads, deli style meats. There was very little rocking and no one that I knew of got seasick. My only complaint was that the crew could have been a little more friendlier. They seemed unconcerned with the passengers.
