We recently reserved a rental home with Historic Hideaways for spring break. We were very excited about our upcoming trip, but right after we booked, my wife was diagnosed with cancer. The doctor thought we would still be able to go on our trip, but the biopsy results came back, and another surgery is needed, so the trip is no longer an option. Though we explained the situation to the staff, they refused to give us a full refund on our deposit. I understand that they are trying to run a business, but in light of our situation, this hardly seems fair!
