One Bedroom Villa - Vero Beach

We've decided to go to Vero Beach next year, yay!

Has anyone any advice on the one bedroom villas, are they worth it?

Also we love turtles and have heard so much about turtles nesting on the beach, has anyone had any experience of this?

Has anyone done a river boat cruise on the INdian River and seen Dolphins and Manatees etc.

Just an FYI, turtle nesting season is from May to October, Manatees are more likely to be here Nov to April. You may find a few hanging around during the summer but more are here in the winter months. Dolphins are pretty much year round but more will be found in the spring. Here are some links to turtle nesting info:

As for the Villas are you speaking of the Disney Resort? Keep in mind that is about 10 minutes north of Vero Beach and is not near a lot of things, Very nice place, can't speak for the rooms as I have not stayed there but have had lunch there several times and it was good.

Being a resident, I don't know anything about vacation rentals. The Disney Resort is an impressive facility, should you stay there.

We have a lot of winter residents and visitors. Some own their winter homes, others rent. Prices accordingly vary quite a lot by season.
