SeaFood Restaurant

We are staying 2 nights precruise at the Courtyard downtown. We arrive in Tampa before noon and are looking for something to do the first day. We would also like to find a good seafood restaurant, any suggestions? The next day we are going to Busch Gardens.

Arriving at noon the first day and staying downtown: check into your hotel, and here are a few options downtown: Tampa Museum of Art, Lunch at Chennelside and the Florida Aquarium, Tampa Bay History Museum, Lunch in Ybor(Green Iguana, Tampa Bay Brewing Company) and the Ybor City Museum and Tour. Shopper? do lunch and check out Olde Hyde Park Village, Ybor City 7th and 8th ave shops(International bazaar is huge and has some unique items). Lunch at Bay Street in International Plaza near the Airport, then head downtown to check-in.

For seafood, check out Mangroves or St. Barts Island House on Howard Ave in SOHO district, or The Collanade(OK) on Bayshore Blvd south of Bay to Bay Blvd.(nice views. Oystercatchers is kind of expensive(at Hyatt Westhsore on the Bay).

I hope this helps!

What day will you be here? There is the largest outdoor art festival in the nation happening the weekend of March 4th and 5th downtown. Gasparilla festival of the Arts.

Have lunch at CHENNELSIDE - you will not be disappointed.

Also check out the international bazaar - got some great gifts there.
