SRQgirl....question

We took your advice (from a couple posts ago questioning vacationing in Marco Island)... and we have booked our vacation in Siesta Key! Thanks for your advice - after doing some research, and "google earthing" - it looks like a great place.

Is there scuba diving in the area... and if so, do you know where to go for rentals? Also... we would be interested in renting a pontoon. Any ideas on where to rent these? We are staying in a private home on Sandy Cove Ave. We have already made lists of restaurants that you have recommended to others....you have such great information.... you should be Mayor :)

Thanks again for your help!

There are great deals on pontoon rentals at CBs Saltwater Outfitters on Siesta Key. They are by the Stickney Pt. Bridge. (There are sometimes coupons in those Sarasota "tourist" books.) The people that work there know all things "water". www.cbsoutfitters.com

There is the Dolphin Dive Center inside Economy Tackle and Watersports on 6018 S. Tamiami Trail.

These are both locally owned businesses.

Have a good time..........

(You made te right choice. Marco is overdeveloped)
