Village Des Pins - Is this a nice place to stay?

After 2 weeks in Kissimme, we want a week by the beach somewhere nice and relaxing. I have seen a nice condo in the Village Des Pins Resort. There will be two couples (family) and a 4 year old. Would like to be fairly close to bars and restaurants although we will have a car.

Thanks

Village des Pins is not on Siesta Key...it is in Sarasota.

Thanks but doesn't really answer my question. The villa/condo is advertised as siesta key and as I've never been there before i have no clue as to location. Was hoping for some helpful insight.

Village des Pins is a villa complex on Beneva Rd (Sarasota). about a 10-15 minute drive to the beach...depending on traffic. It is located close to US 41/Tamiami Trail which is the main n/s road through Sarasota.

It is close to the Sarasota Sq. Mall and many dining options on US 41. The "google" map supplied will show you the route.

Each unit is different so you should look at photos.

You had said you wanted something "close to the beach" so I assumed you meant Siesta Key.

When are you planning to visit? In high season $1,000/week doesn't go as far and many places are booked.

How many bedrooms?

http://www.midnightcoveii.com/rates.htm Midnight Cove II is nice.

Midnight Cove II is on the Bayside.

There is also a Midnight Cove on the Gulf side (closer to the beach)

Rates will be less in July vs. Spring Break high season.

You will get something on SK in July for $1,000/week.. (not July 4th)

What exactly are you looking for? number of bedrooms?

Would like 2 bed 2 bath within walking distance of beach and restaurants. Like the look of mc and also Jamaica royale and sunset royale. Which one would you recommend the most? We are 1 couple in 20s with a 4 yr old and one couple late 30s
