Siesta Beach and Village or Turtle Beach

How are these two areas diffrent? What beaches are quiet which are crowded in Summer?

These are 2 different ypes of places.

Turtle Beach is at the southern end of Siesta Key. No large concessions, no umbrella rentals and the sand has more shells. it is also much more narrow.

I like to fish there.

Siesta Public Beach has a large parking lot, concession stands etc and has sugar like sand.

The Village has many shops/dining.


If you type the names in the "search" box you can read lots of forum comments.

High season here is during Spring Break, not the summer. There won't be standing rooom only crowds.

Turtle beach is a good beach.

but it does not compare in sand quality to the northern SK beaches.
