Southwest Stopped Direct Flighs?

Anyone know whether this is temporary? We were all set to fly out next Spring from Orlando and now I see SW no longer has any direct flights to Panama city airport. This is a major bummer as the 8 hour drive is just too long for us, and the Southwest Direct flight is one of the main reasons for chosing this destination.

Back to square one!

The next closest would be Northwest Florida Regional Airport (VPS) in Fort Walton Beach.

You can Pensacola's airport as well. A bit of a drive, but might be worth it. It's a pretty drive along the coast.

Yes, they used to fly from Milwaukee to Atlanta, then to PCB and have stopped that service, too. Bummer because we were hoping to fly this year rather than drive. Must not have been a big seller in the Midwest market either.
