Damaged by a storm. The last time we stayed there was about 6-7 years ago.

As of early March 2012, it is still completely closed down and boarded up. There is some dispute with owners and repair/construction that's been in limbo for years now. I heard a rumor about a month ago that whatever it was blocking them moving forward had been resolved, but the last time I was down there there was still no change.

Assuming they do come to an agreement, there will still be months of work before it's habitable.

Just got back from a stay next door. There was no sign of any active work going on at C.R.

dont know about a fixed opening date. they were working on it and making progess in feb.

I ran across one vrbo listing advertising advance booking. it may not make spring, but I think summer is a relatively safe estimate.
