Hyatt or Ritz Carlton for 3 nights??

Previously posted regarding which area to be in, now narrowed down to the either the Hyatt or Ritz Carlton. Does anyone know details regarding the shuttle from the Ritz Carlton to their beach club? How long is the ride to the shuttle? Do they leave and return at certain times? Really torn, usually love to be right on the beach, but with only 3 nights we don't want to spend a lot of time driving to nice dinners, etc. If we stay at the Hyatt, and the weather is bad, will probably need to venture out in other areas. Looking at a map it all looks relatively close together, but not sure about traffic? Anyone with experience please chime in.

There are dining options in walking distance from the Hyattt at a shopping area across the street.

Miguels

Javiers

Clayton's Siesta Grille

There is also a shuttle from the Hyatt etc. to Siesta Village called Jonny's. (works for tips)

If you want more upscale dining/shopping, the Ritz is the better choice. It takes about 5 minutes to get from the hotel to their private beach club and St. Armands Circle. You cross the Ringling Bridge to get to Lido Key or you can wander the downtown for some good restaurants. The Beach Club is very nice and upscale.
