Beachfront Bars/Resturants

We want to find a place to stay along the beach where we can just walk to bars and enjoy the beachfront while setting and having a drink!

Sarasota city is not on the beach. Siesta Key is on the beach, but does not have waterfront bars and restaurants. Lido is on the beach, has one or two beachfront places, and more walkable at st. Armand's. Not a lot on beach on Longboat Key either, but Anna Maria Island has several waterfront places, and a free trolley to take you around.

When are you planning to visit, how long will you stay, when and how many people? helpos with suggestions.

There are a few areas to choose from.

There aren't any beachfront bars on Siesta Key, but you could have beachfront accomodations and walk to the bars in Siesta Viilage.

Lido Key has the Lido Beach Resort, Holiday Inn Lido (across the street from the beach) and others..

There are more beachfront bars on Anna Maria Island..you can post of that forum too.

So where would you recommend to stay on Anna Maria? Husband and I will only be there a day or 2. Driving over from Okeechobee. Just want to enjoy the beach, drink and have a meal as long as it is with the view of beach and we can just walk around and relax. Not concerned with price.

Look for something on Bradenton Beach. Lots of good places, including LaCosta, Tortuga, Runaway Bay, many more. Also try Bridgewalk, and Queen's Gate to be a few steps away from several beach bars (and restaurants).
