Post-hurricane shelling?

Island-bound Friday for first time in a couple years. Have you regulars found that the quality of shelling, or the quantity of critters and things left in low-tide pools ans such, has changed since the hurricane?

Last summer shelling was the best in a LONG.....time for me. Been traveling for 31 years.

Last week was really good there.....high winds churning.

FYI: Incase you didn't know it is illegal to take live shells, and there are stiff fines.

Thanks...and, yes, we're aware of the restrictions on live shells, and feel guilty even when we remove an occasional dead one! In fact, after our first visit where we came home with a shoebox full.....my wife brought them all back the next year and redistributed them on the beaches!
