St Pete's beach to Clearwater

We would like to spend Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 somewhere between St. Pete's beach and Clearwater. We would like a clean, quieter place overlooking the water.

Welcome any suggestions.

Thank you.

The beach communities between St Pete Beach and Clearwater (Treasure Island, Madeira Beach, Indian Rocks Beach, Indian Shores, North Redington Beach) are generally quiet. The Doubletree North Redington Beach, and the Marriott Residence Inn in Treasure Island are nice, quiet places. The Marriott will be within walking distance of a greater variety of restaurants, shops, etc. There are many other hotels in these towns, too.

The Pass-a-Grille section of St Pete Beach is also quiet. The Sabal Palms Inn and the Inn On The Beach both overlook the Gulf, in a low-key, mostly residential neighborhood.

Most importantly, if you mean this upcoming Dec 31-Jan1, book it quickly! Those are busy dates, and things will be filling up (if they aren't already). Keep in mind, too, that many places may have a minimum stay over the holiday.
