Florida has a lot of two for one happy hours. Pay for one and get two. Wish Ohio would jump on that bandwagon! The drink prices varied from place to place when we were there last summer. Some were cheap ($3 American) while the tiki bar behind Howard Johnsons was pretty high ($6).

RivieraMaya40th - You're not the only one who wishes Ohio would do that!! Do you remember some of the names of the places that offered the 2-for-1 drink specials?

Thanks for the info!

Almost every bar will offer some type of 2-4-1 drink special, especially during happy hour (usually 4-7pm). They tend to NOT run the specials on weekends because that's when they have their biggest draw. Some bars have 3-4-1, sink or swim specials (where you pay like $10 for a glass, and they refill it all night). Mind you, you won't get top shelf liquor or imported beer, but if you're ok with that, then you'll be fine.

We find domestic beer (Bud, Miller) goes for $3-5 each, depending on if draft or bottle, mixed drinks around $5, more elaborate drinks (margarita) around $7, wine probably $4 and up depending on what kind you like.
