Travel questions from a Canadian visitor

4 students travelling.

So far, $380 for the flight to Orlando, Florida.

Need to rent a car because our main focus is to see the night life (so far, advice is Downtown Disney) and check out the famous beaches.

Our arrival July 10-17, staying at the Westgate Resorts through hook-up.

Everyone is 23 of age except for me, 22 yrs old...sigh....

What is the cheapest way to get around?

What are my options and what's fun to do on a student budget?

Hello charmnuck,

Firstly, you dont "NEED" to rent a car, Im not saying its a bad a idea but theres plenty of other transportation options, the theme park parking lots always have expensive parking fees and you have to deal with local traffic. Theres plenty of fun things to do in Orlando, if you want nightlife the place to go is Downtown Orlando, Downtown is a great place to get away from Disney and get a good taste of the real Orlando, a place where you can meet locals and also enjoy much more of what Orlando has to offer besides the attractions area.

I agree with the above post. Definitely check out Downtown Orlando for a taste of real nightlife. Roxy and Chillers two excellent places to have some drinks and dance.
