How easy is it to take the Lynxs Bus to/from Disney Parks??

Hi everyone,

We are planning on returning to Florida (International Drive Area) in 2015 and was loking in to all the different ways to get to the Disney Parks. I was wondering if anyone had taken the Lynx bus to the parks at WDW and how easy it was to get there and get back to take the I ride back up International Drive??

We are looking in to a few different hotel options (have stayed at Rosen Inn at Pointe and will more than likely book in to here again)

Don't like the idea of staying at WDW for a week then on I drive for a week.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :) Thanks in Advance

You can find all the rout info by putting in your address on the lynx site http://www.golynx.com/ or you can wait for Scan to use the tool for you. She likes to get people's info to put into the tool for them.

Taking the lynx is easy. Take the number 8 bus to the stop at Seaworld and then transfer to the number 50 bus which takes you to Disney. Stay away from iride, overcrowded, too slow and a waste of money. Lynx costs $2 per ride. When you get on the number 8, tell the driver you want to transfer to number 50 so you won't have to pay again. Another option is to buy a weekly ticket if you will use the bus on regular basis. We use it the whole time for going to Universal or Seaworld or Disney.

Staying at Rosen inn at Pointe Orlando is a good location. You are on the nicer end of International Drive with good selection of restaurants.

Just back last week we stopped at Rosen Inn was great. We used the Lynx buses to get out to Disney on four days with no problems. It takes a good hour or so but as the advice has said just go to Sea World and switch to the number 50 bus. Its just luck if the timings work but we never waited more than about ten minutes forcthe bus. If you have an I Trolley pass as well it just doubles your options getting to and from Sea World. Enjoy.

Does the 56 that starts at the Disney's Transportation & Ticket Center pass Downtown Disney en route to the Walmart Supercentre in Kissimmee? Thank you.

We normally stay at the Springhill Suites Universal Blvd (5 minutes walk from International Drive) and they provide a complimentary shuttle to Disney, with various return times. The only draw back is that shuttle calls at a number of hotels there and back
