Car Hire Advice

Hello,

I am currently looking at booking car hire for our trip in December.

I have narrowed it down to the following

Hertz - Mid Size SUV £233 (Hertz.co.uk)

Alamo - Mid Size SUV £225 (Alamo Brits)

Both have additional driver and all insurance required.

Which one would you choose and why?

Thanks in advance for any answers.

If they both give exactly the same service, both are on airport- if that's what you want-, and you have no preference on the company, the choose the cheapest.

I'd choose Alamo because I've used them before with no problems.

I'd choose Alamo as I've used them before with no problems, AND they let you choose the car you prefer from the class you've paid for. I'm not sure if Hertz let you do this???

I have used both, both are good, both let you pick the vehicle.

Personally I would go with Hertz just as I had a really good experience with them whilst renting in San Francisco.

I'd chose Alamo but thats because I always take the option of using the Sunpass, their charges are cheaper if you intend using it.

We always use Alamo and have had no problems....so far! We like to be able to pick the car we want from the selection in the category we have booked

"Alamo - Mid Size SUV £225 (Alamo Brits)"

Can I ask how long are you booking this car for, and are you booking direct with Alamo Brits?

Thanks
