Any help for flights from UK to Orlando?

We trying to find some, at least decent prices, flights to Orlando. The prices we're coming up are £4000 (UK) for 2A 2C (13&10).

It's from UK to Orlando for 16 nights at end of July this year.

We've tried skyscanner, BA, Virgin going from different airports, 2 stops etc but all seem really really expensive.

Anyone help please? We want to go for 16nights as want to goto a Disney hotel on site for full 14 days of parks (other 2 days are basically travelling)

Cheers

Have you tried US Airways direct, we are going in May (oh hang on.. that's this month!) 2 adults 2 children 14 +12 and we saved over £700 on the Virgin prices.

So you would think the saving in July would be greater.

It was booking direct - http://www.usairways.com/en-uk/default.html and we are flying from Manchester, it goes via Philadelphia, but the extra couple of hours is well worth the £700 saving in my opinion.

Hope it helps.

Have you tried moving a day or two either side of your desired dates - that can sometimes give a big saving.

Go on www.aerlingus.com....I tried different datess leaving from Manchester and as you have 3 adults and 1 child it comes up from 3500 british pound to 4500 depending on dates. Check to see if they fly from your home airport. Also you will clear immigration at Dublin and will not have to do that again in Orlando. Also try www.united.com. Good luck on your search.

Sky scanner should be giving you a few indirect options to Orlando. We're flying out at the end of July with US airways via Philadelphia but going to Tampa which was about £40 pp cheaper than orlando for the 8 of us.

I am going with US Air from Glasgow, Booked last week, 2 adults, £1010, checked just now, and the price has gone up to £1320, so don't leave it too late to book as your prices will rise. That price is for Glasgow to Tampa, vie Philedelphia, BA wanted £1440.

Well we're still struggling with finding flights at a reasonable price. We've just tried KLM, this is probably the cheapest so far, but its 2 stops on way, but leaves from our local airport.

Anyone used then? It comes to £3200 for the 4 of us. Not sure if you book online with KLM direct that you drop off your bags at local airport and your suitcases are forwarded on, so all you have to do is worry about the connections?

Also one of the connections that it gives a price for is in Atlanta. It states you land at 19:12, and next flight away to Orlando international is 19:57, isn't this too short a time between them? Any delays and we'd miss it. Then what happens?

Although its a 2 stop journey, we would leave 6am and get to Orlando around 6pm local time so it's not too bad, just the inconvenience as such of 2 stops, anyone done this? Are kids are 13 and 10, and decent travellers.

Have you tried flying into Tampa instead of Orlando??? This might be workable as is usually cheaper but of course only if you are renting a car as is over an hour drive to Orlando
