hi all,

we're tavelling out on 14th march for 2 weeks.Could someone please give us info on the tolls.Which roads,cost,is it worth having toll passes and if so which ones?

We're going to Kennedy,cocoa beach and a few other beaches east and west sides.

There are a few toll roads in central Florida and all are shown on this map: https:/…ExpressMap2009.pdf

The two most likely roads you might take are SR (State Roads) 417 & 528 (AKA The Beachline). All tolls are payable in cash and you should have a supply of quarters handy and stay to the far RIGHT hand lane to pay. This applies to trips to Cocoa Beach and Kennedy Space Center via SR 528.

Going to the Gulf Coast beaches, you should not be troubled by tolls at all.

A toll pass (SunPass) from the rental car company is not needed and would be a waste of money. Do not let they tell you otherwise. Just remember to stay in the far RIGHT lane to pay in cash.
