Well, firstly the weather. It was cooler a couple of days ago and we were warned to have our jackets with us. There are two reasons why we respectfully ignored this advice.
One..It had dropped from 73 to 69*. This is still very warm for someone who has come from snow. Two you have to remember that the temps are always done in the shade. Out in the sunshine it was like 77* which was very warm.
Today it is 75*+ which is very warm.
We have been shopping at various locations and prices vary. Macys at Mall of Millenia were cheaper for hubby than the one in Florida Mall (strange!).
In general the shops are dearer (but still cheaper than the UK) than last year and the ranges are smaller. JCP have less selling area than in the past and where there were once racks of offers there are now open areas with a small display.
A word of warning..Macys 10% off card for foreigners is now not available on certain items. In the mens dept today through to Sunday there is 25% off anything which totals $100 or more but you cannot use your 10% on top of this. Never mind, he spent $190!!!!!.
I believe Florida Mall is better than Millenia, mainly because it seems busier and many items at Millenia I cannot afford lol
Everywhere is quieter. Went into Earls at DTD and outside (it was 72*) there was no-one sat and inside it was half empty. I still cannot understand how they can operate in England under H&S rules!
On the roads we have seen several lots of police with speed cameras out and about. Twice they have been near the Olive Gardens on Palm Parkway pulling people.
The drivers still have no idea what an indicator is for but suprisingly there have been few accidents. We have had several murders around but not near us. All for now.
