Animal Kingdom Resort or Fort Wilderness...

EDIT: Made a mistake in the title. Wilderness Lodge!

Having serious withdrawals since getting back on October 1st.

We have never stayed at a Disney hotel before but after eating at Poly, AK and Wilderness lodge I decided I have to stay at one next time.

As Poly is waaaay out of our budget (maybe one day)

We can't decided out of AK and Wilderness Lodge.

We will have a car but will use transport if we decide to have a drink out somewhere.

It is just me and hubby 24 and 28.

I want to book before 15th November to take advantage of the dining plan.

I'm getting excited already and we won't be going until halloween next year! Lol.

Personally I'd pick AKL they are both beautiful hotels you can't go wrong with either. Have you looked at any other resorts or just those 2 because you've eaten there?

We haven't had a look at any others.

Just poly, AK and WL.

Wish I could afford Poly. But we'd have to save double the time and I think I need a Disney fix in 2013! Lol

Have a look at Coronado springs its a beautiful resort. It's a conference center so it's very quiet it's great for a couples retreat. We had the pool to ourselves most days this past January

What about, first week at WL, then move over to AKR for second week.....

Having said that we stay at AKV for first 6/7 days then move to BCV for 10/11 days.....:-)-):-)

If it was just one on your list though...... We have stayed at WL as well, but I would go for AKR.......

It's a little quieter & those animals.........

If you want to be nearer MK then monorail to Epcot, maybe WL fits your criteria better.....

Enjoy choosing, you've started with 2 great Resorts :-):-):-)

Well done.........Great choice........

Planning is "all" part of the fun.....

Make sure as you've got DDP you do a few 2 credit meals........ It's the best way to get great value from it......

A few to start you off......

1 credit :- Boma, Sanaa, Cape May, T. Rex, Rainforest, Wolfgang Puck,

2 credit :- Yachtsmans, Narcoossees, California Grill,

Yeah Partypa I got the free plan :)

That's why I booked now. It says it ends on 15th November.

It's the first time for Disney resort and dining plan so I'm sure to be asking a lot of questions!

Thanks MikeC that's really helpful.

I just put a reminder in my phone for when the date I can make the reservations! Lol

Thanks everyone!! :)
