Twilight Tickets?

We will be arriving late afternoon for our Disney trip. Are there twilight tickets available at a reduced rate for evening entry to the parks?

No. If you want to go to a park, you pay full rate. there is a late day annual pass for locals to get into EPCOT though.

May I make a suggestion? Dinner at DTD, then get disney bus to the TTC and visit the 3 monorail resorts and WL. Get a lovely tour by boat and monorail and end up at the Poly where you can watch (for free) the MK fireworks and water pageant.

Welcome to the forum

Will you have more time, more days to visit the Parks ? Or just that one " later in the day" bit ?

Regarding the above, there is no such thing as a Disney Transport bus from Downtown Disney to the Transportation & Ticket Center, nor is there any Disney Transport bus between DTD and any of Disney's parks.

The only Disney Transport buses for DTD go to and from the resort hotels, and the only Disney Transport buses at the TTC are for Disney's Hollywood Studios and for Animal Kingdom.

But I definitely agree with the advice of going to DTD and then maybe to the monorail resorts. At DTD, you can get a bus that goes directly to any of the monorail resorts (they share buses, in different combinations depending on the season ... sometimes all 3 monorail resorts share a single bus, and sometimes Polynesian shares with Contemporary and then Grand Floridian shares with Wilderness Lodge).

Agree that a visit to some of the resorts, Downtown Disney, or the Disney Boardwalk area would be a great alternative for a late day arrival.

There's also two mini-golf courses on the Disney property (Fantasia and Winter Summerland) which could fill your evening hours if you like.

Unless you've got one of the "unlimited' day tickets, wasting a full day's admission for just the evening hours at a theme park is a bit of a waste.

Unless maybe- are you coming in October or December? During one of the 'special parties' periods ie halloween/xmas?

Tickets for those are sold seperately and start at 4pm I think.

amv, are you there ?

More info needed, we could all go on and on but that won't help without more info, like, will you be visiting the Parks other days or is that the only day you can go ?

Thank you for all of the info.! Sorry to have been out of touch....we will only be in Florida for the weekend and are doing Animal Kingdom one day and Sea World the other. We picked these parks based on my son's current interests. Since we will have several hours on the first day I was trying to make the most of the time. DTD seems like it may be a good option. We will be there Oct. 20-23.

Hello, glad you have checked back in :)

DTD is a great option for a bit of fun. You might think about having dinner at T-Rex or Rainforest Cafe, kids love them both. I would also suggest a visit over to the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, they have a small petting zoo and pony rides ( small fee ) No Park Ticket required to visit any Disney Resort :)

amv You'll be there during Mickey's Not So Scarey Halloween at MK. Tickets are $61 for adults and $55 for kids 3-9 if you purchase in advance. You can enter the park at 4pm and it stays open until midnight
