Hi Phil and Lyndsay,

If your looking to stay on Disney property the Grand Floridian and the Yacht Club are good choices for adults. Check them out at www.disneyworld.com

For off property choices the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, JW Marriott and the Ritz are great choices.

Our school district lets out for summer break June 4th as does many others some earlier so you may still run into crowds, if so utilize your fast pass options. The weather in generally hot in the low 90's.

Orlando area schools tend to let out toward the end of May, so if you go in June, you will have the local kids to worry about. The choices listed above are good places, but its going to be hard to find any hotel in the touristy areas devoid of kids; this is Disney after all. You could try the Universal hotels, they're at least somewhat themed less for kids. If you really wanted to get away from kids, you could try a bed and breakfast (there's an article on the TA Orlando page which mentions some), or you could stay outside of the touristy areas at, say, the Westin Grand Bohemian in downtown Orlando.

"and will still be going to all the theme parks if there open when we go in june"

The theme parks are open 365 days a year. The only exception that I know of is when a hurricane threatens; even then, it has to be an imminent threat.

June should be hot, maybe with afternoon showers, though probably not quite as hot as July and August. Check weather.com for past averages. Hurricane season starts June 1.
