credit crunch

with the economy of the major world countries now having an effect, oil prices dropping, the possibility of a reduction in vat, will airlines have to drop prices.

there are fewer airlines which could go against this, due to less competition.

but if there is a drop in demand will the late holiday bargain come back..to fill the seats on the plane..

or, will the prices rise, and the flights reduce so fewer people will visit florida..

is there any economists out there with any ideas?

we are looking very seriously about waiting 2-3 years before we return.

i checked virgin holidays the other day and their prices had actually gone up however today they're back down to what they were....don't know if it was just a blip or they wanted to see if anyone would pay the higher amount....
