Do any charities/nonprofits pick up your extra gear?

It's cheaper to purchase car booster seats than rent them along with our van... and I'd like to donate them to a charity when we leave. Does anyone know of a charity that picks things up from Disney properties? Or a charity that's easy to get to from Disney? Thanks.

Theres are several local charities you can donate to, they will accept almost anything that can be used, here is a list of major local charities and thier websites, check them out for more info:

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida

http://www.goodwillcfl.org

Salvation Army Orlando

http://www.salvationarmyorlando.com

407-423-8581

Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida

http://www.foodbankcentralflorida.org

Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida

http://www.centralfloridahomeless.org

The first 2 charities I listed above will recieve the kind of item that you want to donate, the 2 last charities I listed only accept food and monetary donations. There are many more charities. Hope this helped.

Thanks for the input! I'm all set now - found a charity that's excited to receive them.

It might also be worth checking into a women's shelter in the area. These shelters are where women (and their children) escape from abusive households usually with only the clothes on their backs. The donations received by the shelter is usually the only means these women have of getting back on their feet once they are out of their terrible situation.

Just another thought.
