July 4th Fireworks Display- Where to go to view?

We will be arriving in Orlando in the late afternoon of July 4th. We are staying at Cypress Harbour. We will not be paying to visit any of the Parks that first day. We do have a 12 year old. Where should we go to view the best 4th of July fireworks display without paying to get into a park? Thank you..

You could make a dining reservation at one of the Magic Kingdom resorts to coincide with the fireworks display. You could have dinner and then walk on out to the beach afterwards to watch the display if dining at Grand Floridian or The Polynesian, The Contemporary you could simply stroll out to the parking lot. Or you could have dinner and spend some time at The Boardwalk Resort near Epcot and take in their fireworks display.

Which of these locations generally has the most spectacular 4th of July firework display? We will also be in Orlando for the holiday.

Don't forget the July 4th fireworks at Lake Monroe in Sanford -

The "Best" ??? - it's a toss up -

FYI - The downsides of Lake Eola are trying to find parking before and then the traffic jams afterwards.

Sanford is a drive but the fireworks over Lake Monroe are really pretty good.

As stated before, You don't have to be in the Magic Kingdom to enjoy the 4th fireworks there and WDW usually 'supes' it up a bit for the 4th.

Overall, since you're arriving late p.m. on the 4th - I suggest the Magic Kingdom. If you're going to eat at one of the hotels there, recommend making your reservations days before you leave Cape Coral.

Hi I sent an email to Disney asking would their be 2 displays on 4th July which I had read on another site. Disney's reply was that the fireworks at Magic Kingdom will be at 9pm but will have 2 spectromagic parades at 10.30pm and 12.30pm hope this is of help and that Disney have informed me correctly.

Nice to see that even the "locals" come to Orlando on vacation hope you have a great time wrexhamfc

A great 4th of July firework display to checkout is at Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando. It is an excellent display and its absolutley free, the festival begins at 4pm and the fireworks are usually around 9-10pm. Checkout the following websites for more info:
