I'd be very careful about selecting a hotel/motel based solely on the 'cheapest rate' - You need to consider location, too.

There are some 'cheap' hotels/motels but I'd never recommend them to anyone because of their locations in, shall we say, less than desireable/safe areas.

Stay away from those located on Orange Blossom Trail north of Sand Lake Dr.

You need to consider the safety of yourself and your companions and keep this a TOP Priority in all your travels.

Not all of Orlando and the surrrounding areas are as safe as Mickey Mouse.

There are quite a few budget hotels on I Drive - Rodeway Inn, Quality Inn, Best Western... and they have fairly good standards. I'd probably say Best Western is the best out of those three, followed by Rodeway and then Quality. I believe the Quality rate is $59 per night.

Definitely let us know where the hotels you're looking at are located so we can advise you whether they're in dodgy area's. There are some really unsafe areas not far out of the main tourist regions, you really want to be looking at International Drive or Kissimmee for cheaper hotels with a safe location.

What is the complete name of motel/hotel where you found the lowest rate?

I tried looking the address up using Yahoo Maps and am getting conflicting location information.

If the location is on 192 west of I-4, then you shouldn't have a problem. However, if the location is closer to Kissimmee, then 'things' could be a little more 'dicey' based on local knowledge.

Note:

The complete name is Howard Johnsom Express Parkside and it's ranked #79 out of 206.

It is located way east of I-4 and not really all that convenient to the attractions area.

The reviews are, shall I say, less than favorable.

I wouldn't recommend staying there.
