We very much enjoyed a plated Sunday Brunch at the Tropical Reef- a tiny storefront bistro next to a cheesecake shop- it was across the Highway from our lodging, the Inn at Pelican Bay. The crabcakes were wonderful and the lunch and dinner menus looked good as well. We wanted to go back but didn't get there. Also near our hotel was BhaBha- a Persian restaurant with lots of French influence. The food was delicious and many folks told us it's their number one favorite in town.
