What is the best beach to visit?

My wife and I are going to the Naples area for the first time. Do you have any recommendations of a good public beach to visit?

The beaches in Naples are all public. There are a few areas with parking lots and limited facilities, primarily Loudermilk Park and Vanderbilt Beach. There is limited public parking (with meters) at many of the streets leading to the beach in Old Naples. As far as quality, the beach is consistently clean, calm and beautiful along its entire length.

Clam Pass is very nice. You take a tram through the mangroves to a beautiful beach. There is a nice restaurant on the beach that serves a very good lunch.

Our favourites are Clam Pass for the mangrove ride, Lowdermilk for the facilities an you can't go to Naples without going for a walk on the pier!
