Naples for families

Spending about 3weeks in Florida in June. Orlando for first week then hoping to go down the coast for week or so before heading back to Orlando for a few days before heading home. 2 boys 11 and 6. Is Naples a good option? Active boys ..... Like some beach but also like to get out and about..... Naples looks like a good bet.... Am I correct or is somewhere like Ft Myers better option? We pretty easygoing folks!

stop by Lido Key Beach off St Armands circle in Sarasota

and in Ft, Myers Beach and Naples they have two car parks

one for permit holders only and second alongside

public parking for non-residents

Also you need loads of " Quarters " ( . 25 cent coins )

as the machines don't give out change.

cost ....about 1.50 per hour

enjoy.

Ft. Myers Beach. check out Pink Shell, Edison Beach House, Holiday Court, 1st 2 on Beach side, Holiday on back bay with pool, so swimming, fishing, crabbing and the Beach/Pier is across the street.

Naples is great for families! We are just wrapping up our 10 day spring holiday here and our children ages 4 and 6 have had plenty to do! Wonderful children's museum in Naples and there is a water park located across the street that will be open daily by the time of your visit. Vanderbilt beach is nice as is lowdermilk park beach. Great playground in cambier park in old Naples. Lovely shops and places to eat along 5th avenue in old Naples and the beach is nearby. Plan to stay closer to beaches as we stayed in south Naples and had to drive everywhere and will plan better next time. I hear some of the hotels in area may have children's programs on offer too. Good luck and have fun!
