Eating on the beach and Train

We are making our 4 th trip to Naples with our 4 year old in a couple of months time and cant wait.

WE have fallen into the trap of doing the same things etc each tie we come which is fab but we would like to try something new.

We have been told there is a beach near Naples that you park and catch a train over the boardwalk? Can anyone advise please?

Also when we have visited Venice Beach in the past we had some great lunches at the Tiki Hut Sharks on the Beach is there anywhere similar in the Naples/Marco Island Vasinitity?

Thanks in advance

You've heard about the beach at Clam Pass. There is a small parking lot where you can take the tram to the beach. I haven't been there lately, it used to be mostly reserved for cars with beach parking stickers. They do have food and rental of chairs and other amenities at the beach.

At any of the Naples beches, you can park at metered parking if you don't have a sticker, but it gets costly to park.

There isn't much in the way of eating on the beach here.

Vanderbilt Beach has a parking garage for permit and non permit parking. The cost is 8.00 per car. You can rental chairs and cabanas. You can buy food at the deli on the corner or the is Gumbo Limbo in front of the Ritz Carlton Hotel or the Turtle Club in front of the Vanderbilt Beach Resort. Both beach front.
