DoubleTree by Hilton or Residence Inn?

I'm having a hard time to choose for possible hotel in Naples for our upcoming early November 4 nights stay. We're a family accompanied by my parents in there late 60-early 70th's. Our plane for Naples is unwind and relax byt the poor or take a trip to the beach. We're having a car for our stay in Naples and I don't mind driving to the beach etc.

The breakfast is not a deal-breaker since I get comped breakfast at DoubleTree. Which one would you recommend and why, by reading and looking at pictures, DoubleTree seems a bit more up to date. Both are ranked equally at Tripadvisor for Naples hotels.

The Doubletree is further from most of the attractions Naples offers. I’ve never been in the rooms of either hotel but on location alone I’d pick the Residence Inn.

We are fans of the residance inn brand. Apartment style hotel rooms, with a small living room area. The breakfast is always pretty good, free parking, and some properties do have beach supplies to borrow. Too many good features to pass up.

DoubleTree also has a separate living room with small kitchen area and is also very close to Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park . Free parking available too . Have to say the Residence does look very nice though !
