The Wyndham Garden is 1050 Washington so the bus is perfect for you! Just tell the driver if you are unsure where you are...

4. Re: $2.35 AIRPORT FLYER bus service to South Beach

Thank you for all this information in one spot!

So, if my hotel address is 1400, it looks like I could get off at Washington Ave and 15th, if I didn't want to stay on the bus until it gets to the end and heads back north again--am I reading the information correctly?

How do you think the bus travel time compares to a taxi?

Hi AG: Heading to Miami for the first time. Are the pink signs easy to spot?

Address looking for 1409 Washington Ave. I get off at Collins and

14th and head west?

Great info throughout this site.

Thanks

I will try to fill in for AG...

The bus travels on Washington Ave, not Collins. Get off at the 13 Street stop and you'll be just a block away. Route map here:

http://www.co.miami-dade.fl.us/transit/library/routes/150.pdf

And yes, the pink signs for the "MIA Mover" are very easy to spot at the airport.

How long would it take to get to the airport leaving ~5:30pm from SoBe? Not sure how realistic the published times are. I have one more 9 hour stop over in Miami, so would like to go to SoBe.

There is a lot of conflicting info about this.

http://www.miamidade.gov/transit/library/airport_flyer_brochure.pdf

This shows 4 stops, which i understand is now down to 3 since it no longer services earlington heights?

http://www.co.miami-dade.fl.us/transit/library/routes/150.pdf

This shows stops all the way to south pointe.

Does anyone know what stops the bus actually makes? I don't mind walking but i don't want miss a stop and head back to MIA.

krzr:

That first link you posted is old and incorrect, please do not use it. The map you linked second is correct and shows all the stops:

http://www.co.miami-dade.fl.us/transit/library/routes/150.pdf

or, you can use the following linik to get the schedules and map:

http://www.co.miami-dade.fl.us/transit/routes_detail.asp?route=150

The short answer is that the bus does not stop at Earlington Heights, but does stop at many stops (every couple of blocks or so) in mid- and south beach from 43 street down to 1 street (see map for exact stops).

Vit:

Sorry missed your post earlier, but I would allow at least one hour to get from south beach to airport by bus. That's about 45 mins travel time plus 15 min average wait time. If I was catching a flight I would probably make that 75 mins total to be safe. I can't say for sure how accurate the schedule is at rush hour, I assume some slippage.
