Which Shopping Mall

Have a 1 day layover but will not be hiring a car. Wish to stay near a shopping mall for something to do which would be recommended. Mall of America - Outlet Centre or Dolphin Mall.

Do any have public transport in case we do not find suitable accommodation handy.

Thx for any replies

What are your arrival and departure times? Do you want to shop at an Outlet Mall, or a regular mall?

Also, not sure which mall you mean by "Mall of America"?

Oops sorry did not mean to mention MOA.

We are in Miami for maybe 1-2 full days due to disembarking our cruise ship & our scheduled flight departure

Been to the Sawgrass Mills so just wanted something of either experience Outlet or Regular SC to fill in the day that would only be a short Uber ride or public tpt away

Hotel in mid range $$$'s (we are Hilton members.)

Thx again

You could stay downtown, south beach, or mid-beach. While not close to any big mall, you can reach either Dadeland or Aventura by public transport, or Dolphin or Sawgrass by (paid) shuttle bus. The first two are regular malls (Aventura is bigger of the two), the latter two are a mix of outlet and regular shops. There are hotels close to each of the malls also, but you'll need to commit to that specific mall, and probably not much to do outside mall hours.

Thank you rk2005. Will take all options on board. After hours will not worry us if nothing much else around. As long as a good restaurant & bar we are happy.

Cheers

I would stay by the Dolphin Mall if I were you. I can spend all day in there!

Dolphin is fair choice based on everything posted. You may want to look at the website of each of the four malls to see which has the stores of most interest for you. There is a Hilton Garden Inn near the Dolphin Mall, and I imagine some Hilton or Hilton partner hotels not too far from the other malls.

Mall of America is the worst. Try Dolphin and if you can fo far away, Sawgrass Mall, Aventura Mall or Dadeland Mall.
