Reasonable Melbourne Hotel in March

A friend of mine and I are planning a trip to the east coast of FL from March 19-22. We are looking for a reasonable room in the Melbourne area for March 21st. I'm trying to keep the room less than 90 bucks with tax, so if you have any ideas let me know.

You might try the Jamison Inn in Palm Bay about 10 minutes south of Melbourne, Theres a Ramda's Inn on US 1 (used to be Ramada) however it may be a little shabby. Do not stay at the York Inn (disgusting). There is a Holiday Inn and I think America's Inn out by I-95. I am not sure of the rates of any of these but they will be the cheaper hotels. La Quinta is in Viera which is the very north end of Melbourne (near the baseball stadium)

What part of Melbourne do you want to stay in?

I saw you also posted on the Vero beach forum. You might want to check out Sebastian. It is half way between both. Very small town. Has the Sandrift Motel and the Pennwood Motor lodge. Both older hotels but may have good rates. Also there is a new Best Western and of course Captain Hirams. Hirams will be more money but is a really cool place to stay.
