One Day/One Night 3/17-what to do?

I will be staying for one night with my fiance at the Hilton before visiting my brother on Siesta Key. Have never been to Longboat Key before....any suggestions for a typical day and night? It will be St. Patrick's Day when we are there. Anything going on for that?

Also, restaurant suggestions would be great (fun outdoor seating for lunch, under $25 for dinner).

Thanks in advance!

Well, since you are from Ohio, I guess you will spend the day at the beach.

For lunch, you could eat on St. Armands Circle..

the Columbia and Cha Cha Coconuts have outside seating for people watching.

On Longboat is the Drydock Waterfront Grill.

Will you be on Siesta Key for dinner? You might enjoy the Siesta Key Oyster Bar or The Hub.

You could have dinner in downtown Sarasota and hit some bars for St. Pat's Day. Or have dinner in Southside Village and hit some bars. Under $25 with drinks? Hmmm.

What kind of food? O'Leary's is a Tiki bar type place on the water at Bayfront Park in the downtown.

Also, be prepared for crowds...
