Backcountry fishing

We are visiting the Keys in November. We are intrested in booking a backcountry fishing charter but have been told the fish move out to the warmer waters. Is this a true statement?

This doesn't make sense to me since the shallow waters are warmer. While I don't do much flats fishing, my understanding is summer and fall are some of the best times of the year. This site has some good information:

My Flats fishing website www.threebone.com has great information on fly fishing the Florida keys for bonefish. Fish reports, how and where, fishing blog, flies, and a key west humor blog...and more. I call it threebone, because I caught 3 bonefish in one day (a few times) from roadside wading/fly fishing. Flats fishing information is hard to find in for Florida Keys.
