Best place to rent a boat

We are looking to rent a boat for the day just to explore the waters of Key West and maybe do some fishing. We will be arriving the first week of Aug. Does anyone have experience or suggestions? Not really interested in charter boats.

I've never rented a boat down in KW. I've thought about it but am not familiar enough of the waters. I'd be too worried about navigating in that area even though I am a boater.

I found this link http://keywest.com/boatsail.html that may help you.

Have fun!

Sunset Watersports has an ad for boat rentals...

17' $175.00 half day, $250.00 full

20' $200.00 half day, $275.00 full

22' $250.00 half day, $325.00 full

Deck boat $275.00 half day, $375.00 full

"Fully equiped, Bimini tops, GPS, VHS, fish finder, depth finder, Live Wells."

294-5500 or 296-2554

They don't mention where they are located but there is one at the Casa Marina.
