I've parked both short and long term in that parking lot, but never have taken local transit from there because we like to walk. Do you have a specific question about it?

That's the Park-N-Ride parking lot which looks like a good idea for day-trippers ---> http://www.fla-keys.com/keywest/parknride.cfm

Sharla...we were thinking of parking there for the day to do the fury island adventure combo trip. Was wondering about the route the bus takes. The plan is to come in from kcb in the morning, eat and hit a few shops, our trip leaves at 2:30. Originally we thought of doing the trolley, but not sure where to park for that. So after finding this park'n ride i thought we could just park there and use the public transprotation (bus?).

There are plenty of parking area's around Old Town Key West, even metor pay boxes so you could street park for hours if you wanted. Old Town Trolley and Train offers free parking by the entrance to the island for people doing a tour with them, but not sure how late they run, so that may be an issue with your afternoon snorkel trip. I would think that you could easily find a parking area close to where you want to be and walk around a bit, rather than trying to figure out the transit schedule. KW is cry easy to get around, and very walkable. You can also check this website, Keyweststeps.com it shows simply the distance from one place to another in steps.

Some of the Fury trips leave right from Conch Republic on the Bight, if yours leaves from there you wouldn't need the bus part.
