Title: The Key Pad on Key Colony Beach
My husband & I spent 10 days recently in this great little town-of-its-own in the Florida Keys. We loved the pace of KCB, the laid-back atmosphere, the
setting, and the near-by bars and restaurants. We specifically enjoyed the happy hour at Breezers...but we also loved the fact that we didn't have to step foot on US1 if we didn't want to.
Lots of accommodation options, but we stayed at "The Key Pad" that we found on Vacationrentals web site. It was a ground level duplex that had everything. Bikes, kayaks, modern and wonderfully equiped kitchen, deck grill, you name it...a dock to fish from...What's not to love?
KCB is also a good jumping off spot for Key West and a good location for family-oriented activities (Dolphin Center, snorkling, Theatre of the Sea, etc.)
