Outrigger Room Type

We are doing a girls getaway the end of January and have decided on the Outrigger. We are trying to decide between a pool front efficiency on the 1st or 2nd floor-can you see the ocean/beach from the first floor or are the tiki bar/buildings in the way. Are there bathroom by the pool or do you need to go to your room? Thinking ground floor would be convenient, but saw pics someone posted from the 2nd floor walkway and the view looked awesome-and maybe away from the noise a bit. Or coarse we'd love beach front but can't justify the $$ difference when we won't be in our room much.

One more question-it says quiet time is at 10 but if you're not ready for that, you can go to the "pelican perch"-what is that?

It depends on what 1st floor room you are in as to weather you have a Gulf View, some are open the curtain and others are walk out and look right.. Call the front desk to ask about views. There are bathrooms on the lower level, cafe, tiki bar, pool. Live entertainment. Great location. Wide Beach of white sugar sand. Walk South or left to Holiday Inn and their Tiki bar=Pinchers Crab Shack and live entertainment. Across from them is a CVS and Santini Plaza with shops, restaurants and bars. Across from Outrigger is a 7-11, Munch Box for breakfast/lunch, Charleys boat house for dinner(salad bar) and Beach Theater with an awesome menu/drinks.
