FMB conditions

We'll be in FMB on Oct 18th,as we've done the last 15 years.It seems every year the is something different on the beach.One year jelly fish then stingrays then seaweed last year it was sea spounges.Whats the condition this yaer?

Yep, nature's pretty awesome, isn't it, and fairly unpredictable! I haven't been able to get out there since Monday, and didn't see much of anything special or unusual. A couple of starfish, really tiny ones. Bunches of sand dollars at really low tide. Didn't see any jellyfish. It is still stingray season, so do the shuffle when in the water just to be safe. Haven't seen any seaweed or red tide. There were some sponges and, oddly enough, puffer fish, after our last rockin' good storm, but not so much lately. Haven't seen anything icky lately. There was a bit of an odor last week, but that's gone. Never did figure out what caused it :-)
