Is it possible to snorkel off Pelican Beach?

We are traveling next month and staying at Pelican Beach- they advertise reefs right off the shore. Is the water clear, and is it really possible to snorkel off the shore?

There is a Pelican Beach in Destin. (Also the Bahamas) Are you talking about the Best Western Pelican hotel in Ft Laud?

There is a reef right off shore here in Lauderdale - I look out on it everyday from my window ( lucky me). I would assume there is snorkling and that the Pelican will give you all the info you need.

In the past I ahve even found a company on the web called something like Funky Kids Fun ( maybe) that does a snorkling "day camp" for kids at several area hotels- perhaps Pelican is one of them.

YEs, We will be staying at the Pelican Beach in Ft. Lauderdale, and they state they have two snorkeling reefs off their shore. Just wondered if anyone has snorkeled them. Thanks!
