Eating Everglade City

Hi, coming for one afternoon/night. Last year went to Camillia St Grill and really liked it. Any other options worth a try or should I stick with what I know and like?

I just went to Camilla Grill and Bar in Jan ... I had the stone crab appetizer ... excellent.

IMO it is the best restaurant in town, it stands out from the other restaurant bars.

Option go to Goodland on Marco Island .... the restaurant called "The Little Bar" is an equal to Camillia. 30 minutes away.

City Seafood - on the water. Good seafood and you can watch the airboats leaving and returning to dock.

City Seafood is a good one. They just did a big renovation and now has a dining area upstairs as well. Best breakfast is at Island Cafe....that's where the locals go. Absolute BEST PLACE for stone crab to go is Grimm's Seafood on DuPont St. Family owned and they have their own boats as well!

I love Grimms, and go often but FYI it isn't a restaurant. It is a seller of stone crabs to take home ... that I do.

Actually, Howie has built a little Chickee (tiki hut) out back where the boats come in. Justin will crack the stone crab for you, give you mustard sauce and you can sit and eat them right there on the water!
