Easter Break Trip Recommendations

Planning a trip to the Panhandle for Easter break. Last year we stayed at the Azure on Okaloosa Island and loved it. This year we want to try a new location that would be comparable or better than Okaloosa and looking for receommendations. We are a family of 7 - 2 adults late 30s and 5 kids ranging from 6-13. Need the convenience of being right on the beach and having a pool & hot tub. Would like to keep it under $1500 for a week if possible. I realize this will most likely put us in a condo and we are fine with that. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

You might like Sterling Sands or Silver Shells in Destin. Those are just two of so many great larger condo complexes. Take a look at the Top Questions on the right hand side of the forum for a list of all the condos in the area. Good luck with your search.

Silver Shells is wonderful, luxurious resort, but may be out of your price range for a week during Spring Break. Another great option is Gulfside 1 at Hidden Dunes. All condos are gulf front, roomy, and have very nice balconies. These are a bit older and tend to be more affordable.

We booked our Spring Break trip late this year (Dec 15th) and had a hard time finding a place, it's for the same week as you. We couldn't find one condo in the place that we usually stay so we ended up at Maravilla, which we have never stayed, but it's in the Miramar area so it should be OK. My advice is try to book something today, or this week, or you really will have a hard time finding anything. I'm not sure you will find anything right on the beach but crossing Old 98 isn't bad at all if you find something in Crystal Beach or Miramar. Good luck!!
